FIELD: medical engineering, particularly, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: lock has epiosseous plate with holes and teeth consisting of two functional halves for fixing of humerus head which total length makes up 150-180% of head diameter. Halves of teeth length intended for introduction into epiphysis are made parallel to each other and positioned at an angle of 95-140 deg to plate. The second halves of teeth separate at an angle of 30-40 deg and they are bent arc-like along longitudinal relief of metaphysis. Teeth are introduced into arm head along drilled channels. When channels are drilled 1-2 mm wider than space between teeth, effect of antiside compression arises, and correlations of length, configuration and relative position of teeth make it possible to attain elastic volumetric compression in mass of head spongy tissues. EFFECT: higher functional capability. 4 dwg
