FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: gear is intended to fix deep pumping equipment in well at specified depth. It has guide and locking member, is fitted with shut-off device made in the form of sleeve with longitudinal hole with shoulders, bearing ring and spring. Fixing rod is installed in longitudinal hole of sleeve and rod. Breaking-down member mounted for interaction with fixing rod is anchored on end of rod. Member breaks down at calculated depth thanks to pressure. Fixing rod disengages. Sleeve moves upwards along rod and locking member engages string of pipes. EFFECT: prevention of drop of pipe and pumping equipment into well in process of operation and during overhaul, provision for automatic fixing of equipment in specified interval of well. 1 dwg
