FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed bearing is designed for use in supports or guides of mechanism shafts. Bearing has boundary line of outer and inner sides in one of cross sections. Part of length of section boundary line at least on boundary of outer and/or inner side is made in form of fragment or combination of fragments of oblique conical section of straight round cone. This provides directivity of strength properties built in by design, enhanced efficiency of fixing in mechanism housing and determination of bearing manufacturer owing to identificator on external or internal surface of bearing.
