FIELD: mechanical engineering; fasteners for metal structures. SUBSTANCE: proposed nut has at least two layers in cross section. Part of section boundary line on boundary of outer and/or inner side of at least one of layers is made in form of fragment of oblique conical section of straight round cone. Invention provides directivity of strength properties of nut built in by design with due account of its work in bend and shaft, increased efficiency of locking against self-loosening if hardening compound is placed between nut body and part, reduced compression forces and increased relative elastic deformation and ensures identification of manufacturer.
