METHOD FOR MONITORING TRADING OF GOODS AND THEIR PROTECTION AGAINST FAKING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: fake protection. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of information and security label with bar code, which provides identification and additional information about goods, onto each product item. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced diffraction copy protection element with surface diffraction cover. Bar code information is stored in central computer of regulation office and bar code is generated from documents accompanying each consignment and provided by supplier. Preliminary designed algorithm provides conversion of information from documents accompanying each consignment according to rule which is defined by authority in each administrative region and is entered as password. Output set of characters is basis for generation of bar code and consignment of labels is printed in number which is specified by supplier. Trading organizations check goods by means of visual procedure for presence of diffraction element and reading bar code from label and reverse conversion of information to compare it to information documents accompanying goods consignment.
