METHOD OF FORMING AN IDENTIFICATION CODE OF AN INFORMATION-PROTECTIVE LABEL WITH A GIVEN LEVEL OF UNIQUENESS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G09F3/00 

FIELD: product identification means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for production of means of identification of articles, which can be used to protect articles from counterfeiting and copying, as well as for complete identification of trademarks. Technical result is achieved by the following sequence of actions: initial data are entered: k_un.r – quantitative value of required uniqueness coefficient of identification codes; information-protective label is coated with a code containing identification and content information; reading a label code containing identification and content information; first identification code is entered into data database; generating an n+1 identification code; converting the physical model of the identification code into a digital form; values of previously recorded digital identification codes are successively extracted from database; calculating k_un(n+1) – uniqueness coefficient of the generated n+1 identification code with respect to n codes from the database; calculating Δk_un is the difference between the results of estimating k_un(n+1) uniqueness coefficient and k_un.r is the required uniqueness coefficient; if Δk_un>0, code n+1 is entered into database; if Δk_un<0, then the code n+1 is not entered into the database, and the new identification code n+i is created.

EFFECT: technical result consists in formation of product identification code with given level of uniqueness, which will allow to optimize technical capabilities of identification system.
