FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: switch has at least one vacuum arc-control chamber mounted in insulating case. Movable lead of chamber is connected to operating mechanism through insulating control rod which is made in the form of cylindrical rod with two lengthwise steps and taper transition; cylindrical depression on larger-diameter end of rod accommodates hold-down mechanism of contacts connected to control rod through double-end threaded tube; inner surface of thread and some portion of outer surface are press-fitted into control rod. Washer may be locked on bushing by means of embedded semi- rings mounted in drilling made in bushing and in washer. EFFECT: facilitated assembly procedure, reduced size of switch. 2 cl, 3 dwg
