FIELD: cleaning air through separation of solid particles by means of electrostatic separation of materials. SUBSTANCE: ionizer consists of corona-forming and non- corona-forming electrodes. Non-corona-forming electrodes are plate- type electrodes mounted in parallel with air flow. Metal grid electrically connected with non-corona-forming electrode is mounted in ionizer on side of settler perpendicularly relative to air flow. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning. 1 dwg
