FIELD: cleaning air by separation of solid particles by means of electrostatic separation of materials, by means of electrical filters for example. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage source includes dielectric drum, dielectric cover plate and metal collector. Length of drum is no less than 90 mm and its diameter is no less than 140 mm; drum is secured on shaft of fan electric motor. Cover plate is made in form of parallelepiped; one side of cover plate whose length is equal to length of drum is brought in contact with lateral surface of drum and other side is secured on fixed grounded metal substrate. Take-off of high potential is effected by means of collector electrically connected with corona-forming electrodes of ionizer and high-voltage electrodes of settler. Collector is made in form of plate whose length is equal to length of drum; plate has saw-tooth edge directed towards drum; collector is located at distance not exceeding 3 mm from lateral surface of drum on side of its run-out from under cover plate.
