FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: dry clay composition contains mixture of alkali-earth bentonite and aqueous solution of activating quantity of alkali-earth or ammonium salt of insulation substance. The latter is selected from phosphonates, hydroxycarboxylic acids, and di- and tricarboxylic acids. Dispersion of activated bentonite is admixed to cellulose suspension.
