FIELD: automatic-control facilities using power magnets. SUBSTANCE: stop, coil with leads, armature with guides, spring, and fastening nuts are installed in perforated casing whose outer surface is coated with heat-accumulating material, better copper; sectional area of cylindrical magnetic core of casing is found from equation Sc ≥ (1-1,8)Sa, where Sc is sectional area of perforated casing sufficient for passing magnetic flux; Sa is sectional area of armature. Device implementing this process has casing with longitudinal or semi- annular perforation uniformly arranged over diameter or length, respectively, that is coated with heat-accumulating material on outer surface and accommodates coils with leads, armature having slope on stop side, armature guides, stop with nonmagnetic spacer designed to eliminate probable armature seizure due to residual saturation of steel, shims controlling armature travel and gap, cover, spring mounted on armature guide, and fastening nut controlling armature travel by electromagnetic force.
