FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: armchair is designed to facilitate independent movement of invalids. Armchair has two sections of seat which are hinge-connected with their ends to respective front sections, and with other ends they are coupled to corresponding sections of back. Armchair has two base sections, beam tube and telescopic assembly. Chassis is formed by base sections rigidly connected to beam tube. Stationary driving and driven wheels with constant base are mounted on chassis. Other ends of front sections are coupled through respective hinges to chassis which is in its turn coupled to respective section of seat through telescopic assembly and hinge lock in succession. Front section is coupled to platform for legs through respective telescopic assembly. Platform is formed by U-shaped footboard and under-heel member hinged to footboard. Seat section is hinge-connected to stop formed as plate with L-shaped recess. Pin positioned on corresponding section of back is arranged in that recess. Thus armchair construction consists of stationary chassis and seat changeable for concrete user. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and convenience in use. 3 cl, 1 dwg
