IMPROVED SUSPENSION SYSTEM OF VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2145284 C1

FIELD: transport engineering; wheeled vehicles. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed system of suspension, vehicle has body and large number of wheels arranged in cross and longitudinal planes to support vehicle body. Each cylinder of front wheel is connected to diagonally opposite cylinder of rear wheel through pair of channels to pass fluid medium. Each pair of channels and cylinders of front and rear wheels connected by channels form corresponding closed circuit, thus forming first and second closed circuits. Pressure distributing device is arranged between first and second closed circuits and designed to provided equal pressure in closed circuits. Pressure distributing device has two primary pressure chambers, each being divided by force transmitting device into two secondary pressure chambers. Secondary pressure chambers have inner chamber adjoining relative connection device, and opposite outer chamber. Outer chamber is connected, respectively, with first channel of each closed circuit, and inner chambers are connected, respectively, with second channel of each closed circuit. EFFECT: provision of additional elasticity of suspension in direction of vehicle pitching motion without increasing pliability in cross direction. 23 cl, 12 dwg
