FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: antiscoring additive for lubricant oils and greases used in motor-car transmissions and in metalworking is prepared by subjecting alcohol alkali solution to interaction with carbon oxysulfide followed by condensation of resulting salt with elementary chlorine. Normal C6-C8 alcohols can be utilized as solvent for alkali. EFFECT: increased (up to 2 times) antiscoring efficiency. 1 tbl
