MULTICHANNEL OBSERVATION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2145433 C1

FIELD: optical instrumentation, optical observation, guidance and aiming devices. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to periscopes. Device provides for stable operation of several observation channels with laser range finder under unfavorable conditions without any additional adjustment and for wide tracking range of observed object. Observation device includes two observation channels, as minimum, optically intercoupled by means of beam splitter, laser range finder incorporating radiation source and receiver and luminous mark. There exists channel for its formation in the form of collimator. Two reflectors are placed on optical axes of observation channels on opposite sides of beam splitter with regard to components of observation channels. Radiation source and receiver of laser range finder, collimator and beam splitter are mounted for turn through constant angles and sighting by height with kinematic transmission ratio between beam splitter and radiation source, receiver and collimator equal to 1/2. Reflectors are installed for sighting by height. One of channels of device can be manufactured in several versions, it can use infrared or television observation channels, for example. Observation channel in addition can be manufactured in the form of one lens and two observation channels, infrared and television, optically coupled to it with the aid of rotary mirror. EFFECT: provision for stable operation under unfavorable conditions. 4 cl, 1 dwg
