SESAME SEAL Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: locking and sealing key holes of rooms, closets, safes and other closed chambers and tanks. SUBSTANCE: device has plastic housing with chamber and bulge, which is located in chamber, flexible sealing member and lock with bulge. Housing is box-shaped with open chamber which is split by cross ribs. Housing bulge has hole which is designed as through groove. Holes for mounting housing over lock hole to be sealed are located on housing bottom. Flexible sealing member is designed as box-shaped throwing member, which closes housing chamber and is connected to housing by means of flexible bridge for their interaction. Throwing member is equipped with cross rib with hole which embraces bulge with housing in order to match hole with groove in housing bulge and to provide close circuit which runs from closed chamber outside of throwing member. Lock is designed as separate plastic plate-shaped member which is equipped with two additional elastic bulges which are designed as lugs parted at angle. Said member is inserted outside throwing member into hole until it rests in housing bulge. Lugs part, when they leave hole and enter chamber, so that they rest into walls of housing bulge. EFFECT: increased protection against unauthorized seal break without seal destruction. 3 dwg
