SUBSTANCE: respiratory device has flat central part with first and second edges, first flat member connected to central part first edge by bending, seaming, welding or fastening means. Bending, seaming, welding or fastening means of second member has length equal to that of second edge of central part. At least one of central part, first member or second member is manufactured from filtering material. When unfolded, respiratory device is made in the form of bowl-shaped air chamber surrounding user's nose and mouth. Free edges of central part and first and second members are adapted for adhering and protecting user's nose, cheeks and chin. Outer boundary of free edges adhering to user's nose, cheeks and chin is less than perimeter of device folded for storage. Method for storing respiratory device involves folding it to flat state, with first and second members being at least partially laid onto same surface of central part.
