FIELD: chemical, oil-producing and refining, food, fuel-and-power, pharmaceutical, perfume, chemical-photographic and microbiological industry, civil and highway engineering, etc. SUBSTANCE: fluid media are treated with acoustic vibrations of rotor made in the form of two discs facing each other with their end surfaces and located in spaced relation to each other in periphery and rigidly connected to each other in region of hub. Discs execute fan-like, spatial and relative to each other vibrations of various form, frequency, amplitude and intensity. Treatment may be carried out by discs whose acoustic vibration frequency and form do not coincide.
