FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, low and average power synchronous machines. SUBSTANCE: device has three-phase winding 1, which first terminals are connected to input of rectifier 2, which direct current input is connected in parallel to excitation winding 3 and pulse gate 4 of excitation regulator 5 with preliminary amplifier 6, and photon-coupled pair 7. Measuring unit has serial circuit of stabilizing diode 9, resistive voltage divider 10, filter capacitor 11 and additional rectifier 12, which is connected to phase terminals of winding 1 and additional excitation capacitors 13 for each phase. Device operates as follows. Residual rotor magnetization results in electromotive force in three-phase winding. Oscillating circuit of winding and capacitors 13 amplifies electromotive force leading to self excitation of alternator. Capacitance current which runs through rectifier 2 is loaded by excitation winding 3 which produces flow that increases self excitation of alternator. In idle mode, power losses are compensated by capacitance current in capacitors 13 and flow in winding 3. EFFECT: simplified design, while keeping stiff external characteristics in static and dynamic modes. 1 dwg
