FIELD: paging communication systems. SUBSTANCE: two-way paging communication system employs four local frequencies for communication between pagers and central controlling station. First local frequency (f1) carries signal of local time, second local frequency (f2) carries information packages from central controlling station to pagers, third local frequency (f3) carries information packages from pagers to central station and fourth local frequency (f4) carries status signal or interrogation signal from pagers to central station. Transmission on fourth local frequency (f4) is carried out in correspondence with positions of divided time attached to pagers serviced by given central controlling station. Only eight frequencies in each given cell are used for two- way paging communication system that includes aggregate of central controlling stations servicing corresponding number of cells. Four of used frequencies are local frequencies (f1-f4) that can differ from cell to cell and another four of used frequencies are low-capacity common frequencies (C1-C4) that are employed to switch over or to readjust pager shifted from one cell to another. EFFECT: simplified readjustment of pager during its migration between different geographical areas or " cells " serviced by different central stations. 30 cl, 13 dwg
