FIELD: diagnostic methods. SUBSTANCE: rate of benzidine oxidation (summary peroxidase activity) in patient's saliva is measured before and immediately after the first hyperbaric oxidation procedure. When reaction rate is increased by 1.4 to 6.2 times in average as compared to original level, sensitivity to hyperbaric oxygenation is diagnosed. When reaction rate is unchanged or decreased up to 7 times, hyperbaric oxygenation resistance is stated.
