FIELD: method of preparing salt corrosion inhibitor. SUBSTANCE: method comprises reacting chloroalkanes resulting from hydrochlorination of higher fatty alcohol fraction with ethylene diamine in aqueous medium during heating operation, hydrocarbon chain of chloroalkanes containing 12-14 carbon atoms, and process is carried out at temperature of 150-160 C and pressure of 0.57-0.65 MPa. Amount of water is 5-15% based on weight of initial products, preferably 10%. The resulting inhibitor has high protecting effect and has bactericidal activity with respect to corrosion aggressive sulfate reducing bacteria.
