FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of synthesis of inhibitor of corrosion and hydrogen absorption of metals in acid and aqueous-saline hydrogen sulfide-containing media. Method involves interaction of amines with carboxylic acids, reaction water distillation off, mixing a residue with the composition solvent and difficultly soluble disperser taken from adducts of alkylphenol with ethylene oxide and characterized in that polyethylene- and polypropyleneamines and also mixed polyethylene- and polypropyleneamines that are reaction products of polyethylene- and polypropyleneamines with dichloroethane and dichloropropane are used as amine source. Isomeric α-branched carboxylic acid of C5-C28-fraction are used as the source of carboxylic acids. Interaction is carried out at first at 120-140 C for 6-8 h at simultaneous distillation off of water and the following heating the reaction mixture to 250-280 C for 3-4 h and reaction water is continued to distill off under inert gas flow followed by alkylation, hydroxyalkylation or cyanoethylation of obtained substance at 40-80 C.
