FIELD: pipe enameling. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying enamel slip to pipe outer and/or inner surface; heating pipe by means of inductor and simultaneously removing water steam released from enamel slip during heating; subjecting to roasting. End of pipe with layer of enamel slip introduced into inductor is provided with metal bar having heat-conduction coefficient equal to or higher than that of metal from which pipe is manufactured. Metal bar and pipe with enamel slip layer are heated at temperature providing for enamel slip roasting. Heating and roasting processes are performed so that portion of pipe with dried enamel slip is introduced into inductor, while subsequent portion of pipe with enamel slip layer is subjected to drying process. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced power consumption. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
