FIELD: production of polyester thread from polymer with 90% of chains composed of ethylene terephthalate molecules and manufacture of technical rubber articles from this thread. SUBSTANCE: method involves extruding melted polymer through spinneret plate; directing threads produced by extrusion through heating zone and cooling zone in mentioned succession; fixing thread motion speed; stretching threads to length exceeding their initial length by 1.5-3.5 times; winding yarn produced from thread. All mentioned stages are united into a single process cycle. Crystallinity of threads before stretching process is less than 16% and yarn winding speed exceeds 6,000 m/min. Such yarn is used as reinforcing material in rubber products, in particular, in tyres, and may be used for manufacture of cords with superhigh nonshrinkage and unique combination of specific tensile strength and shrinkage. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and improved quality of thread. 27 cl, 3 tbl, 6 ex
