SUBSTANCE: video display has cathode-ray tube carrying deflecting system mounted on it, rear cover, elements screening magnetic field formed by deflecting system and metal plates screening electric field formed by deflecting system. It also includes screening device that incorporates at least one screening wire in the form of closed loop positioned on upper internal surface of rear cover and attached to internal surface of rear cover to screen electric field propagating upwards from deflecting system. Screening wire in the form of closed loop can be stretched. Device screening electric wire can have two wires, each being grounded, or assemblage of wires in the form of closed loop connected in parallel one to another.
