FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing soil formers with soil. When slits, moles, holes and interrupted furrows are cut in soil, soil formers are intensively migrated from upper layer into root layers. Underground and outer moisture accumulating vessels, such as slits, moles, holes, interrupted furrows prevent soil formers from being washed out from soil by flowing water. Apparatus has frame, chassis, hitch, wheels and regulating mechanism. Tine is fixed on frame and adapted for carrying hoe with double-sided wedge-shaped moles. Two moles are positioned at hoe side edges and third mole is disposed in central portion. Hole cutting cylinder mounted behind hoe has narrow and wide blades mounted at an angle to axis of rotation of cylinder. EFFECT: increased efficiency in distributing soil formers over the whole root layer of soil and reduced washing out of soil formers from soil due to water erosion. 3 cl, 4 dwg
