FIELD: devices for intake of surface layer (oil, for instance) of oil-containing sewage waters or some other immiscible liquids. SUBSTANCE: device may be used in gathering of oil products from surfaces of water basins, rivers, seas and oceans, and also in sewage works of water supply systems and waste-water disposal systems, in chemical, metal working and other industries in purification of process fluids and lubricants-coolers from organic impurities. Device includes floating oil-gathering means held on surface with the help of pantograph-type mechanism and made in the form of two rotating opposite to each other hollow sealed cylinders installed on common frame and having smooth and wavy side surface and trough located between them and whose walls serve as scrapers, discharge system connected with trough, drive mechanism connected by chain transmission with two rotating hollow cylinders, metal work carrying a set of weighting plates for regulation of position of oil-gathering means. The device is also provided with two additional perforated pipelines mounted on common frame parallel to two hollow cylinders from opposite sides with small regulated gap between surfaces of pipelines and cylinders, two check valves and flexible hoses connected to perforated pipelines and check valves.
