FIELD: polygraphy, in particular, equipment used for printing valuables, such as money signs. SUBSTANCE: printing unit has printing cylinder, offset cylinder, plate cylinder with sectional printing member, sectional offset cylinder and template-type inking roller connected to sectional offset cylinder through toothed gear. Offset cylinder has mechanism for reciprocating template-type inking rollers in axial and circumferential direction relative to plate cylinder. Length of displacement of each template-type inking roller from its central position is within the range of 0.25-2.00 mm. Cycle of such displacements is 5-10 full revolutions of plate cylinder, with ratio of diameters of template-type inking rollers and plate cylinder being 1:2. Such construction allows total color intensity of iris printing pattern and protective properties to be improved and prevents this pattern from being reprinted on color copying and multiplying units, which is of importance in production of valuables, such as banknotes. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction.
