FIELD: equipment for plastic working of materials, in particular, forming and compression of heavy materials with low moisture content, such as ground, mixed or bituminous concrete, gravel etc. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has drive and working tool formed as platform performing plane-parallel rocking and progressive motion. Platform has openings for feeding material from above. Working tool has shield for guiding material into intensive machining zone. Shield is inclined toward rear part of working tool in the course of advancement of apparatus. Lower edge of shield is mounted on platform in spaced relation to platform rear edge, with space being at least third part of length of platform in the direction of motion of working tool. Such construction allows materials to be formed and manufactured in situ at construction grounds. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced consumption of power per unit of product. 3 dwg
