METHOD OF AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING GAS SERVICING VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; vehicles for filling trucks with compressed natural gas used as fuel and supply of other consumers. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of operation of mobile gas servicing vehicle includes compressorless filling of road vehicles with compressed natural gas by emptying cylinders 2 grouped into sections 3, 4, 5, 6 of large, small and medium volume. When pressure in cylinders 2 drops to minimum tolerable value, compressor is started to transfer gas from large and medium volume sections into small volume section. For this purpose cylinders 2 at one side are connected through shutoff and control valves with gas distributing station 16 for filling the cylinders and emptying them for external consumers. Cylinders are connected at opposite side through manifolds with valves with suction main line 21 and delivery main line 20 of compressor through separate valve. Small volume section is connected through valve 19 with manifold of sections of intermediate volume. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of gas servicing vehicle. 3 cl, 2 dwg
