FIELD: transport engineering; vehicles for negotiating snow-covered terrains. SUBSTANCE: proposed sleight has skeleton resting on two parallel skis, front steering ski with steering handles and rider seat. First axle built into skeleton carries pedals to transmit efforts from rider. Rack are installed for turning around first axle. Second axle is built into racks. Front gear wheel is installed on first axle and is connected with above-indicated pedals. Rear gear wheel is installed on second axle and is connected with front gear wheel by roller chain. Power rotor wheel is made for rotation around second axle and coming in contact with road or snow, thus providing movement of sleigh. Rider seat is made movable. Front gear wheel is installed between turnable racks on first axle. Power rotor can be pressed to road snow by spiral spring through radius rod which slides in slots of skeleton and is located behind the seat. Vertical rod provides return of power rotor in initial position through cable. Cable is wound onto shaft through pulleys under action of handle on control panel. Control panel is made integral with skeleton. Locking of vertical rack with power rotor lifted can be provided by flat cam, stop passing into skeleton hole and spiral spring which is compressed by flat cam at horizontal movement of handle on control panel.
