FIELD: mining and construction industry. SUBSTANCE: device relates to pneumatic facilities of percussive action intended for percussive sinking into ground of pipes and other elongated articles. Pneumatic percussion device has striking unit with body. Accommodated inside body is striker, which divides body space into idle stroke chamber and working stroke chamber. Located beyond striking unit limits is control air distributor with body containing spool valve inside it, supply line and exhaust line, and at least one communication passage connected with striking unit. Spool valve of control air distributor contains piston which in combination with body creates space above piston isolated from chambers of striking unit and from communication passages connected with them. Provided in control air distributor is first passage which periodically connects aforesaid space with supply line. Also provided is second passage, which connects aforesaid space with atmosphere. In another version, control air distributor is provided with corrector device intended for changing volume of space above spool valve piston depending on pressure of compressed air in supply line. Aforesaid embodiment of device widens field of its application due to creation of additional operation duties together with broader range of changing parameters.
