FIELD: mining industry; applicable in provision of safe conditions for performance of blasting jobs in gassy and dusty mine workings. SUBSTANCE: safety is ensured by formation in face isolated space of inert medium excluding processes of burning and blasting due to reduction of content of oxygen in mine atmosphere beyond the limits of inflammability. Oxygen content in mine atmosphere is reduced by heating of mine air. EFFECT: formed inert medium without use of phlegmatizers, inhibitors and inert gases. 3 dwg
