FIELD: equipment for laying electrical conductors and pipelines. SUBSTANCE: duct section is U-shaped in sectional area and has part functioning as cover joined with loose ends of U-section sides. Solid flanges are shaped on these loose ends for fixing covering members spaced apart at certain distance. Proposed section has at least duct base smaller in thickness wherein indentations are made in separate points to improve duct stiffness. Such points may differ in shape and may be provided not only on base but also on sides of U-section, as well as on its cover. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency of duct manufacture. 5 cl, 2 dwg
