FIELD: low-voltage rolling-stock equipment fed from on-board mains, miscellaneous process devices. SUBSTANCE: converter has separate voltage inverter with high-frequency power transformer, first and second switches, and control unit. It incorporates output capacitor whose value depends on predetermined function of parameters of switching circuit and thyristors. Control unit has clock generator common for inverter and switches for shaping thyristor control pulses, scaling devices, logical circuits for time distribution of control pulses, and electrical isolation devices.
