FIELD: electrical engineering; low-voltage power supply to moving-consist low-voltage loads from traction mains. SUBSTANCE: voltage changer has off- line voltage inverter with current switched over by series oscillatory circuit, transformer, rectifier whose output is connected to capacitor, first voltage booster with stepped variation of output voltage depending on input voltage of changer. Control unit has current pulse shaper for turning-on inverter thyristors and second voltage booster. In addition, control system has analog-to-digital converter, decoder, control-current pulse switch, and electric isolator. EFFECT: reduced size and weight of voltage changer. 2 dwg
