FIELD: percussive-action machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: striking mechanism can be used in drilling machines of percussive action intended for drilling holes in hard rock matter. Striking mechanism has crank, connecting rod, and striker. Connecting rod is made up of two parts, which are connected to each other by flexible component. Flexible component is of stiffness ensuring longitudinal stability of connecting rod. Aforesaid embodiment of invention allows for simplification of mechanism design. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
