FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms converting reciprocate motion into rotation and vice versa. Proposed mechanism contains slider and connecting rod connected with eccentric crank. Connecting rod is made in form of two plates in parallel planes which are rigidly connected to each other. Geometric axes of cylindrical surfaces of plates are displaced relative to each other by value smaller than radius of crank. Flat slider is rigidly connected with rod of engine piston. EFFECT: simplified shape of members, provision of possibility of use in engine piston mechanism. 1 dwg
