METHOD OF REMOVING ICE, GAS-HYDRATE AND PARAFFIN ACCUMULATIONS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: oil production, particularly, methods of destruction of ice, has-hydrate and paraffin accumulation in wells equipped with sucker-rod pumps. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of ultrasound radiator of acoustic vibrations on sucker rod of sucker rod pump, above wellhead. Acoustic vibrations are introduced into sucker-rod at angle from 0 to 60 deg to its axis. Ice, gas-hydrate and paraffin accumulation are exposed to longitudinal and transverse vibrations for their scaling and full destruction. Destructed accumulations are removed by the known methods. Accumulations are destructed both in pipes and in annular space. After disconnection of radiator supply source, kill mud is injected into annular space. EFFECT: accelerated destruction of various accumulations by acoustic vibrations in pipe and annular spaces, simplified installation of radiator, lower cost of process due to use of one radiator. 2 cl, 3 dwg
