FIELD: oil well drilling and operation, particularly, downhole logging of horizontal wells. SUBSTANCE: stringed on logging cable is pusher in the form of tubular nozzles lending rigidity to cable and leaning against instrument, and weight attached to cable above pusher and developing the required force for pushing instrument over horizontal bore. Length of pusher is calculated by formula L = l + 3/4R, where l is length of well horizontal bore, m; R is radius of well curving, m. Pusher and weight are attached immovably to cable by means of clamps. Tension force between adjacent clamps does not exceed weight of cable length confined between the clamps.
