FIELD: heavy power converters, in particular, for controlling thyristor converters of alternating current train engines. SUBSTANCE: device has two regulation channels, pulse generator, pulse former, voltage transformer and filter. Each regulation channel is designed as serial circuit of rectifying transformer, thyristor bridge, amplifier and pulse distributor. Input of pulse distributor of second channel is connected to pulse former. Input of voltage transformer is connected to mains terminals. Its output is connected to filter. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced device for calculation of root-mean-square deviation. Also pulse former is designed as adaptive regulator. Filter as frequency selection filter. First input of root-mean-square deviation calculation unit is connected to output of voltage transformer. Its second input is connected to output of frequency selection filter. Output of root-mean-square deviation calculation unit is connected to second input of pulse former, which first input is connected to output of pulse generator. EFFECT: improved quality of power supply voltage, increased reliability of device operations, decreased power consumption (by 4-5%) due to compensation of high-frequency after-commutation voltage deviations. 1 dwg
