FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for surface cultivation of soil for further growing of cereal and other farm crops in zones with unsaturated soil. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame and working tools, such as roller 2, three rows of needle-type disk batteries, roller 6 and rotating plated harrow, which are arranged in succession on frame. First and second row disk batteries are made reciprocating and their disks are equipped with needles bent in tool advancement direction for providing intensive preliminary mellowing of soil. Third row disk batteries are made passive, and needles on their disks are bent in direction opposite to tool advancement direction to provide for final mellowing of soil crumbles for obtaining fine-grain structure and for combing out weeds. Front and rear rollers are adapted for compacting soil to optimum density. All disk batteries are set for tillage depth of up to 6 cm. Harrow mellows upper 4-cm thick soil layer. Such construction allows favorable conditions for crop growing and development to be created. Soil moisture is effectively accumulated and used. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced power consumption and increased yield of farm crops. 3 dwg
