FIELD: dye industry. SUBSTANCE: product is prepared by dispersing industrial-grade copper phthalocyanine in continuous-type multizone mixer in organic solvent followed by treating dispersion with water and drying resultant paste. According to invention, dispersing is carried out for 5 to 20 min in double-rotor mixer-disperser in presence of naturally occurring enriched chalk observing weight ratio of copper phthalocyanine, chalk, and organic solvent in the paste 1:(0.3- 1.0):(0.2-0.5), 30-35% of organic solvent being fed into the first apparatus section and 65-70% into the second. Temperature of paste in the first section is 60-70 C and in the second 90-100 C. Treatment with water is carried out at 90-95 C to form chalk-containing pigment. Product can be used for dyeing polymer materials and for preparing building paints.
