FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing microcapsules of phthalocyanine blue pigment. Method involves dispersing the pigment, rubbed into a paste with a surfactant, in a 2.5 % solution of cellulose acetate in acetone or a 2.5 % solution of nitrocellulose in a mixture of diethyl ether and ethanol. Use nonionic surfactant – ethoxylate alcohol OS-20. Resulting product is precipitated with an excess of water, twice the volume of the polymer solution. It is preferable to carry out the dispersion using an ultrasonic disperser. Size of the microcapsules of the phthalocyanine pigment in cellulose acetate is from 5 to 15 microns, in nitrocellulose – from 5 to 10 microns.

EFFECT: invention provides for the expansion of the field of application of microcapsules of the phthalocyanine pigment for dyeing polymers in bulk, for preparing its concentrates and concentrates while eliminating its ability of undesirable coloring of objects in contact with it.
