FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: the rocket has a nose cone, solid-propellant rocket engine and a tail stabilizing device. The nose cone is cylinder- shaped with a brunt end face and round chamfer and annular projection on the lateral surface. The distance between the projection front wall and the end face makes up 0.2 to 0.4 of the rocket length. The projection height equals 0.005 to 0.020 of the diameter of the nose cone, and the projection height-to- width ratio is within 0.01 to 0.05. The stabilizing device is made in the form of an annular stabilizer with slots accommodating movable members in the form of L-shaped blades, its flanges facing the flow. The flange height corresponds to 0.5 to 0.8 of the blade height, and the width - to 0.6 to 0.8 of the blade width. EFFECT: enhanced stability of rocket at subsonic speeds and enhanced reliability of stabilization on the whole flight trajectory. 4 dwg
