FIELD: electrical engineering; thermal-engine driven generators. SUBSTANCE: generator plant has frame that mounts driving unit, generator, and control console; novelty is that driving unit is, essentially, static pneumatic engine that has sealed case accommodating rotor mounted in bearings, as well as inlet, outlet, and safety valves and is closed on both sides with end plates; front end plate has cylindrical part and blind hollow sleeve serving as front support of rotor; it is placed together with generator field winding in front end duct of rotor mounted inside case and provided with special ducts; permanent magnets in the form of round combs are built in front part of rotor; teeth of one of combs enter gaps between those of other comb; generator stator is fitted onto cylindrical part of front end plate; in addition, inner space of engine case communicates through pipeline with hand-operated piston pump.
