OSSEOUS TRANSPLANT FORMATION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medical engineering used in traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: device may be used to form osseous transplant of complicated geometric shape. The device has base, guide and lock. Base is made as a plate with cylindrical hollow for screw end, with rod and dovetail-shaped recess which bottom is fitted with spur rack. Guide is made as a disc with three pairs of slit-like grooves converging in pairs at an acute angle. Grooves turn into common groove on internal surface. Planes of grooves are positioned at obtuse angles with respect to adjacent planes. Disc is arranged on post inserted in slide hole of reciprocal form and fixed therein by means of spring-loaded ball. Slide has projection of dovetail shape. It is mounted for longitudinal displacement along base recess and for fixing by means of rack and pinion. Lock has blades fitted with oppositely positioned pins. Blades are mounted for approach to and removal from each other along rod and coupled by screw having threads of different directions. As a result, osseous transplant of complicated geometric shaped is formed. EFFECT: improved design. 5 dwg
