FIELD: polymer adhesives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyvinylchloride plastisol compositions useful as bonding agents for oil, fuel, and air filters of motor-cars. Plastisol of invention contains 4,4'- isopropylidenediphenol epoxy resin, polyvinylchloride, dioctyl phthalate, bentone, dicyandiamide, hexamethylenediamineadipate, and filler and is distinguished by that the latter is fine chalk and that plastisol contains a series of additional components. Plastisol composition is the following, wt.pts: polyvinylchloride, 100; dioctyl phthalate, 45-50; organotin thermostabilizer, 3.0-4.0; fine chalk, 30-40; epoxy resin, 25-35; hexamethylenediamineadipate, 3.0; dicyandiamide, 7.0-8.0; white spirit, 9.0-11.0; bentone, 6.0; chloroparaffin (plasticizer), 20.0; and calcium oxide (water-binding component), 1.0. Product exhibits following characteristics: attachment of filter element cover, 400-600 kg; shear adhesion strength, 5.5-7.7 MPa; viscosity 15-30 Pa.
