FIELD: medicine, in particular, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has at least two supporting units of similar closed geometry which are aligned one with respect to the other and provided with spokes. Centers of openings in each spoke are arranged in single line. Spokes of supporting units are connected through rods. Supporting units are made in the form of regular polygon having at least six faces whose length is calculated from formula presented in Specification. Openings are made in each face, with number and distance between centers of openings being calculated from formula presented in Specification. Apparatus is further provided with member for connecting supporting units of different sizes. Apparatus of such construction provides optimum curing time for different types of bone fractures by providing optimum biomechanical modes. EFFECT: simplified telescopic construction, increased efficiency by controlled rigidity of apparatus and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
